Lunch place : L'Ebouillanté

Monday, November 28, 2011

Near Caféothèque and Hotel de Ville, is a nice crêperie restaurant l'Ebouillanté. Situated in a quiet area behind a church, away from the busy touristy part of the Marais district, is the popular blue restaurant. It's been here since 1977 ?!

My friend A took me here one nice sunny Sunday for lunch. It was Summer. It was crowded and we had to wait awhile for a place to be freed for us. The "brique" crêpes were so filling, I was almost ready to burst. Afterwards, we took the metro to Parc Floral and took a nap on the grass, listening to live jazz playing in the park; it was one of the best dates ever, I was so sad for it to end!

It's colder now so not as many people outside, but it's always good to know a place that's also open on Sundays. Or Mondays.
